Clean with rude female receptionists

Well, the place is close to everything. Paula at the diner my new favorite server. So is Rosalinda at the Housekeeping. The problem is female receptionist. Unwelcoming, cold, and downright rude. I said Hi to Veronika few times. She has just looked and turned her head. Same with another female receptionist. I asked her the bill and no Hi. Said thank you. She did not even bother to say anything. No you are welcome. No nothing. Throughout the stay. Alicia another female receptionist was smiling and nice. The rest of the women do not know what hospitality means. I think they confuse their jobs with hostility. Same roots from Latin after all.

Not your typical motel

It’s been forever since I stayed in a motel but with the previous reviews and location I thought I’d give it a try. First impressions were that the look of the lobby and pool area reminded me of that Palm Springs look with a kidney swimming pool and kitschy decor. My room was extremely clean and updated. Loved that the flooring wasn’t carpet and no mildew or dirt in site in the bathroom. I was impressed. I was up every morning to head out and the staff were already out there cleaning the pool and cleaning up. The place is clean, updated and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

We loved our stay at the Kings Inn. The location is incredibly convenient, although you do need a car. Walking isn't an option, but driving will get you to many places in less than 20 minutes. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but that wasn't an issue for us. It may be an issue for someone else, though. The housekeeping staff always did a wonderful job, we greatly appreciated it! The staff in general were always helpful and supportive. The Kings Inn has a pool and jacuzzi that are open from 8 am to 10 pm. In theory, this is great, since you can use the pool practically whenever you please. However, majority of the time the noise in and around the pool didn't die down until 10:05 pm and would often start a little before 8 am. For those that are sensitive to noise, I would not suggest a room close to the pool. We did not eat at the Waffle Spot or the Amigo Spot, but we were told that the Waffle Spot gives guests a discount, which is a nice plus! We tried out the gym, it's rather small and only allows 6 people at a time, but it's a gym nonetheless. Overall, we would always choose to stay at the Kings Inn again. It was affordable, clean, convenient and a pleasant environment.

My family and I chose to stay at Kings Inn for our trip to surprise our son for his 9th birthday. Customer service was excellent from each staff (lobby, cleaning crew, at the Waffle Spot and Amigo Spot, etc.). We were very pleased with our room, it was cleaned very well (even the bedding and towels looked and smelled clean). The price is great as well. They were very accommodating and courteous. The pool was as very clean and was open early and late. There were pool toys and towels available for us. This will be a go to vacation spot for us. Thanks to the Kings Inn management and staff!
