Privacy policy
TeeTime Stays is part of the Sleepfare network of hotel-booking sites. This page describes, plainly, what data we handle and why.
What we collect
Searching is anonymous: no ad pixels and no cross-site tracking. A single functional cookie remembers your currency, and if you are not signed in as a member, hotels you save or recently viewed stay in your own browser. If you sign in, saved hotels also sync to your account so they follow you across devices; removing one removes it there too. If you arrive through a friend's referral link we ask, right then, whether to keep their code on your device for 30 days so they get credit if you book later. Say no and the code only lasts your current visit. That optional cookie holds the code and nothing else, and clearing your browser cookies removes it. Signing in to your account sets one session cookie for seven days so you stay signed in while you browse; signing out removes it immediately. When you book, we process the details a reservation needs: guest name, email address, phone number (so the hotel or our support can reach you about the stay), stay dates, the hotel, and the amount paid. Bookings made on any site in our network are stored in one ledger, so you can find and manage them from any of our sites using your email. If you become a member we store your email address and the date, which is what lets us show you member prices. We also keep a note of which link first brought you to us, for example the name of an advert or campaign, so we can tell which of our own adverts are worth paying for. That is a campaign label, not a profile of you, and we deliberately do not keep the advertising network’s click identifier alongside it. Membership never requires marketing consent. While you are signed in as a member we also record the searches you run (destination, dates and party size) and the hotel pages you open, so we can watch those stays for you and email you when one of them gets meaningfully cheaper. Those price checks are made for the trip you were actually looking at, and the email always says which stay and which dates it is about. We keep this for up to 12 months, you can stop the emails from any of them with one click, and you can have this history (and your whole account) deleted at any time by emailing us. If you are signed in as a member and reach the payment page without finishing, we keep that stay for up to 14 days so we can send you one reminder about it; the same one-click unsubscribe stops those too. If you tick the optional deals checkbox at checkout we also record that consent; those emails stop the moment you ask, and the checkbox is off by default.
Payment
Card details go directly to our booking partner's payment processor over an encrypted connection. They never touch our servers and we never see or store them.
Who receives your data
Reservations are fulfilled through our hotel-booking partners, who pass the reservation to the hotel you booked. That transfer is what makes your booking exist; all parties process your data to deliver the stay you purchased.
After a booking on Sleepfare we also send a copy of your confirmation to Trustpilot, who use your email address and booking reference to invite you to review us a few days later. That is the only thing they receive, we never see who wrote which review, and you can ignore the invitation or ask them to delete your address. We do this because a booking site nobody has heard of should be checkable by people who are not us.
Retention & your rights
Booking records are kept as long as bookkeeping and guest support require. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for erasure once your stay and any refund window are behind us. Email support@sleepfare.com and we'll sort it.
