Pleasant stay at great hotel, very convenient to conference center
9.0The view of the marina is wonderful. The pool is very large. If you want to swim laps go early morning. The room was okay, a bit small for the price, and better chairs would be nice.
− The food was overpriced everywhere. Some rooms get a free glass of wine each day but the pour is quite stingy. Restaurants at hotel have very good food, but the prices are outrageous, even for California on the coast.

7.0Brilliant location for exploring & visiting all of San Diego. Hotel is very clean & has everything you would need.
− 1) Minor point, but the hotel does have long queues and wait times in the lobby to talk to staff for check in & check out. 2) Hotel has gone a bit overboard with the amount of sun beds that require reserving, especially on week days when the pool is quiet. We had young children who wanted to play in the pool when we got back from day tripping, we got to the pool to find it was quiet yet unless we paid extra for reserved sun beds at the front we had to sit right the back where you can’t see the pool & children (not one of the sun beds with reserved on were being used).

8.0− You really need to add more bartenders outside to assist guests. Only one bartender at the bar by the pool and one bartender at the bar. It took over 30 minutes to get a drink. Very frustrating!
