4.0− the staff were rude and unwelcoming, and the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The private balcony attached to my room was dirty and poorly maintained, which was particularly disappointing. Overall, the experience fell well below my expectations, and I will not be returning.

8.0Hotel emblemático que faz parte das minhas memórias enquanto criança e jovem adulto. Não mudou muito, mantendo as paredes dos corredores interiores e dos elevadores forradas de madeira nobre, remetendo para a decoração existente na época da construção do hotel (anos 60/70). O quarto não era moderno nem muito espaçoso, mas a casa de banho foi remodelada garantindo assim uma estadia agradável. Excelente pequeno almoço tomado no jardim do hotel.
− Não superou as minhas expectativas. Relativamente aos serviços de restauração, só existia um restaurante aberto, com poucas alternativas para jantar.

Good to know
From June to September, guests have free access to the Hotel's Beach Club, at Alvor Beach, with beach towels, sunbeds and sunshades.
From June to September, the hotel has a free shuttle bus that transports guests to and from Alvor beach.
Children aged 3 to 12 years are offered free entrance to the Children's Club, whilst a fee is charged for children aged 6 months to 3 years.
Please note that use of the hotel’s beach concession will incur an additional charge.
