We have been coming to the hotel for years, which says it all. Country-house style, with modern comforts; open fire, a first class dinning menu and staff who could not be more friendly or helpful. The majority of rooms look out across the lake, and if you are lucky, you will get a close up view of the deer wandering past the window in the evenings. No wild parties, a slow and chilled pace - heavenly.

Spectacular location, with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Bar food is very good. Restaurant food is exceptional. Deserts are works of art.

Beautiful Stay at Lake Hotel Killarney!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lake Hotel Killarney. Our room was wonderful, and the view of the lake was incredible—such a peaceful way to start and end the day. Breakfast each morning was top notch with plenty of great options. It was the perfect way to fuel up before exploring the area. The hotel also has several comfortable sitting areas throughout the property, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the scenery. In the evenings, there’s entertainment in the bar starting around 9:30 pm, which was a really nice touch. One of the best parts of the entire experience was the thermal suites. They were absolutely fantastic and a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. It truly elevated the stay and made the visit feel even more special. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful walk around the lake right outside the hotel. It’s a must-do while you’re there. If you’re visiting in March, be prepared for warm interiors. The hotel keeps the heat up and often has fireplaces going, so it can get quite cozy inside. We found it much more comfortable wearing lighter clothing like T-shirts and using layers for when you head outside. Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Hotel, the location is great in the heart of the natural park, with great views and the chance of enjoying the nature and multiple cultural activities. Our room was perfect, with gorgeous views to the lake and with all the facilities you can imagine. We had breakfast twice, with a great variety of of dishes. We also had dinner once at the restaurant, the food was nice and there was a wide variety of local dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Jonathan and Bela, were really kind with us. I would 100% recommend this hotel, and I'm sure I'll go back the next time I go to Killarney.
