We’re a family of five with three young children (6, 4 and 1), and we had a wonderful experience at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua. We arrived at approximately 1 am after a long flight and a big transition with the kids. The staff were aware of our late arrival and were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless despite the late hour. A lovely touch was that the children were each given their own reusable straw drink bottle to use throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic, with attentive, kind and welcoming staff. The food was excellent, and we were particularly impressed by the staff’s knowledge, food standards and awareness of dietary requirements and allergies. It was clear that the team was well trained and genuinely cared about providing a great experience for guests. The resort activities and pool facilities were excellent. We ended up spending three days enjoying the pool and beachfront, which was perfect for our family. The kids’ club was another great addition, giving the children something fun to do during their afternoon downtime. Overall, The Westin delivered an exceptional family holiday experience. From the seamless late-night check-in to the fantastic breakfast and family-friendly facilities, we felt well looked after throughout our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend The Westin Resort Nusa Dua to other families travelling with young children.

− Our only constructive feedback is that we visited during the school holidays, when the resort was busy, and there were limited additional activities for children in the evenings. We would have loved to see options such as kids’ dancing, fire twirling or other family entertainment. Several neighbouring resorts offered free evening entertainment for children, but access was restricted to in-house guests, so we weren’t able to join in or dine at those resorts. We also found the restaurants within The Westin relatively expensive. We were paying more than Australian prices for meals, which was unexpected in Bali. While these points didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience, a greater variety of evening entertainment and more affordable dining options would make an already fantastic family resort even better.

We had a wonderful family holiday at The Westin Nusa Dua, here is what we loved: Located in beautiful Nusa Dua, with access to a promenade along the beach with plenty of restaurants and beach bars. I rode a hotel bike there every day. It’s also an 11-minute walk to Bali Collection, with plenty of eateries, massage salons, shops, etc. The room was new and comfortable. We absolutely loved the garden view. Breakfast at Prego is exceptional. We usually came early to avoid the crowds and always chose a table on the terrace with a beautiful garden view. The breakfast variety was great, and many items changed every day. The staff went above and beyond and were very attentive. Whindu from Prego always made paper toys for our daughter when we came for lunch or dinner and she loved them! Our daughter absolutely loved the kids’ club. Her favourites activities were Balinese dress-up and dancing, macramé, kite making and flying, kids’ yoga, etc. The ladies at the kids’ club are very professional and great with kids. They made our daughter’s experience memorable, and we are very grateful to them for making our holiday with a young child so much easier. There was construction going on in the left block of the resort and the whole building was covered with some kind of fabric. There was barely any noise and all facilities, except for the gym at the beach, were operating as usual. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend The Westin Nusa Dua to families with young children.
