Breakfast was good, coffee awful

− A lift to the garage essential, but there was not one, you have to leave the hotel and go down stairs and drive out 2 hotels away, then come back to pick up my husband who is 85, to be able to hire pool towels from reception not have to buy them, lifts too small for disabled people and there were a few, toilets too low for elderly people, no grab rails to help.

En general, nuestra estancia estuvo bien. Lo mejor del hotel es, sin duda, su ubicación, ya que está muy bien situado y permite desplazarse fácilmente.

− Sin embargo, considero que el precio es un poco caro para lo que ofrece. También creo que la limpieza podría mejorar, especialmente en las habitaciones y algunas zonas del hotel. En general, tuvimos una buena experiencia, pero por el precio esperaba un poco más en cuanto a limpieza y calidad.

− Disappointing one-nightWe stayed here for one night while visiting Gibraltar. Everything initially seemed fine, so we went out for the evening.When we returned around midnight with our exhausted eight-year-old son, the bedroom was extremely hot as the air-conditioning wasn’t working properly. His sofa bed could not be pulled out correctly, so we had to move the mattress onto the kitchen floor and use the only working air-conditioning unit.We also discovered the unit was collecting water and needed emptying. Nobody had told us this, and we believe the kitchen could easily have flooded if we hadn’t noticed.The following morning, we contacted the property and explained what had happened, only to be told we should have contacted them sooner. However, it was midnight, we had a very tired child with us, and we didn’t feel it was reasonable to expect someone to come out at that time.We were later told the bedroom air-conditioning needed emptying due to humidity. Surely this should have been checked before our arrival.After a very uncomfortable night sleeping on the kitchen floor, we tried to resolve the matter directly but unfortunately had to involve Booking.com.Overall, a very disappointing experience. The accommodation initially seemed fine, but the faulty air-conditioning, sleeping arrangements and response to our concerns were unacceptable. Basic facilities should be checked and working before guests arrive.
