Mucho calor n las habitaciones y poca ventilación

We stayed here for 8 nights and honestly couldn’t fault the hotel! ⭐️ The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was amazing, with so much choice and a great selection of themed nights. There was always something going on, both during the day and in the evening, so there was never a dull moment. The pool and surrounding area were spotless, with the pool cleaned and disinfected every night. Our room was clean, comfortable and well looked after. The location was ideal — far enough away from the nightlife to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep, but close enough to walk to when you fancy a brilliant night out. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families, couples and young people. We had such a fantastic holiday and would happily return! ☀️🌴🍹

Need to focus on consistency & standards then the cosmetics

28th July 2026. Our second visit to the hotel as a family of 10 ranging from ages 79 to 5 months old. The visit was partly due to the last visit which was our last group family holiday in September 2023 before my dad passed away and having had a good holiday his wish for us to do it again. We stayed for two weeks in three 1 bed and one 2 two bedroom apartments on an all inclusive basis. As previously the apartments are large and of a good standard both in terms of facilities and cleanliness, cleaned every day and provided everything we needed. The complex itself was cleaned every day, only feedback would be why you would clean the toilets immediately outside the main restaurant entrance in a morning, barricade it off with recycling bins and yellow slip risk boards as the breakfast service opened at 8am, rather than complete this as first job of the day at 7am in preparation for it being dry and open at 8? Not that many seemed to take a blind bit of notice of the attempted barricade anyway! We had emailed the hotel 3 weeks prior to arrival requesting rooms close together which they both acknowledged receipt of the request and arranged as best they could. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful actively engaging with greetings. Food and drinks, in general we found the food for an all inclusive to be a good variety as per our previous visit, the poorest meal on both weeks was the Thursday BBQ night, we found the quality of the meat to not only extremely poor but more concerning undercooked, (see image) with what seemed like the meat being partly pre cooked prior to service to be finished on the grill, sadly on both weeks we did not find this to be the case, on our second visit I did ask one of the staff clearing the tables to show the chef. On two occasions at lunchtime we also observed staff filling clear plastic “take away” boxes during service one searching for the king prawns from the seafood paella which I found amusing, I’m all for not wasting food but in front of guests? This was openly done in front of other staff so clearly an accepted practice…? The hotel has opened/refreshed a bar at the main reception between 7-10pm which is a nice touch which is “currently” part of the all inclusive offering. Most evenings when we were there the service stopped prior to 10pm to allow for clearing down! Why advertise an opening time until 10pm? As a non alcohol drinker I was refused to be served a coke and told to get this from the self service bar area around the pool having ordered several alcoholic drinks which included coke, yet I was not allowed to simply have a coke with no alcohol….bizarre as this is less costly to the hotel, the main insult was that no glass was provided and I was expected to use the plastic beakers as a 56 year old whilst others were given glasses. This is not branded as an adult only area and times we observed children with glass containing drinks, this however should not mean an adult can’t be served a coke without alcohol which is becoming more the norm and I felt extremely uncomfortable and discriminatory. I suspect this bar in its current format will be short lived and is simply a cosmetic addition and lead me to question managements progressive approach to changing lifestyles. Entertainment, this area has declined since our first visit, I am assuming that these staff are external contractors to the hotel, daytime play group activities during our stay was practically non existent with this actively only been advertised on a couple of occasions one of which our 9 year old attended on her own, evening mini disco whilst advertised as 8.30 every evening if it went ahead (practically never) was over within 15 minutes, lack of energy day and night from some of these staff members it’s no wonder adults and children don’t take part. The replacement face painting mentioned by previous management responses on here we only observed once, this was at 10.30pm and our granddaughter waited for 30 minutes to be told at 11pm they had finished….extremely poor! Evening external entertainment is mainly made up of the typical acts from 20-30 years ago with slap stick comedy most of which went down like a lead balloon which was a shame as some acts built into reasonable acts as they went through their performance, but had already lost the audience with the old school style act at the beginning. Pool area a sun bed situation like most hotels has the same issues, there needs to be 100% consistency in managements approach to this, during our two weeks this did vary based on life guard attending and likely quest complaints to reception. Taking towels off sun beds and placing them on the small tables beside the sun beds isn’t the detergent it is meant to be as other guest don’t feel comfortable sitting next to these, we observed one lady place a towel on at 08.55am go for breakfast and her towel removed at 9am when the pool guard arrived, you can’t police the 1 hour rule if know-one is there to know when a towel has been placed on a sun bed and remove it within minutes because they’ve turn up for their shift at 9am! There needs to be to be consistency, we made sure we were sat on our sun beds at 9am every day and given that the majority of the pool sun beds are outside the pool safety perimeter fence it is practically unenforceable and manageable without the whole area being inaccessible until the pool guard arrives. We were told one day to remove and lower the parasols so the pool guard could see the baby/child pool which we understood from a line of sight point of view, my question to management would be who is supervising these areas whilst they go for breakfast and lunch…one day there were two life guards in attendance I’m assuming as some sort of handover, and they both went to lunch together! If the pool sun bed access issue is one of safety reasons, management need to consider wider safety issues such as a garden “pick axe” being left in the children’s play area completely unattended for well over an hour one morning whilst other duties were attended to. See images….ill leave this one here! Fundamentally, this hotel has great things to offer, the location….amazing! Room and general facilities are good, it just needs attention to detail in basic standards and consistency and personally a complete overall of the entertainment day and night for both children and adults alike. Sadly we wouldn’t return at this point which is sad given we have visited Tenerife since the early 1980s most years several times a year, for us the cost and standards offered at longer haul destinations such as Mexico out weight he shorter flight duration, I don’t think personally this is linked to any one particular hotel but a more general observation of European destinations as a whole, luckily for now the high tourist tax imposed by Europe is yet to be adopted in the Canaries which would further add to my view.
