A wonderful stay to celebrate my birthday. Our room was light and spacious with a great view of the beach and sea. We ate in the Vista restaurant and it was quite exceptional, with so many different tastes from the locally sourced produce. And the staff were without exception attentive and courteous, without ever being intrusive. Of course, this all comes at a price. But, if your budget allows, then I cannot recommend the hotel strongly enough

Mooie locatie, direct aan het strand, zeer gedienstig personeel en luxe ervaring.

− Het restaurant met Michelin ster was prima maar met € 650 voor 2 personen wel teveel aan de prijs voor wat ij gewend zijn bij vergelijkbare restaurants in Zuid-Europa.

The property is amazing….the attention to detail is superb!! The staff is the best, so accommodating ! Rooms were immaculate . But I think the best part of our stay was lunch at BELA and dinner at Vista. To have an amazing stay and also the best food is a win!!

Staff and service.

− Unfortunately, the property is surrounded by Portimão’s very tall buildings. From the photos shown before booking, it looks as though it is located on a fairly secluded beach, whereas in reality it is right in the middle of town, surrounded by tall and rather unattractive buildings. The villa itself could be very beautiful, but the rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are definitely in need of renovation. In my opinion, it is certainly not up to the standard of the other Relais & Châteaux properties I have stayed at. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the staff. The only disappointing detail was that, the day after check-out, I received an email informing me that I had been charged €6 for some crisps that were in the room, despite there being no price list provided. It is obviously not about the six euros, but after spending €2,000 for two rooms for just one night, it did make me smile. Overall, this is definitely not a hotel I would recommend to guests who are accustomed to the standards of Relais & Châteaux properties.

Excellent, stylish, service outstanding. Rooms great and ambience feels exclusive. Pool area is fantastic , private and quiet. Restaurant very good and all staff goes beyond expectations to make your stay great. Thank you!!!

Amazing views and even better staff

A fantastic hotel. The location is right in a tourist area overlooking the beach but it's set back away from the crowds so it's quiet and peaceful. The room we stayed in was pure luxury. We stayed during our anniversary and the staff could not do anymore to make it feel special for us. All the staff went out of their way to wish us well. The pool area and dining area are beautiful and not having to rush out to get a table or sun lounger was such a luxury. This is definitely somewhere to go.
