Excellent spacious immaculate adult hotel .

10.0We had a fabulous time at La Isla y el Mar. From the moment we arrived we knew we’d selected the right place. All reception staff were very attentive, nice touch with the welcome Cava! The Pool View room was spot on, very close to the pool and pool bar but not too intrusive if we were chilling on our terrace. Breakfast was a really nice space with plenty of choice, hot or cold. The pool area was very relaxing, we never struggled to find a suitable sun bed and never saw anyone laying claim to a bed, in fact nobody was around the pool before 10am. We ate lunch on a few occasions at the pool bar and it was great quality and out of the sun. The bar staff were amazing, took the time to know us and called us by our names every day. The room was cleaned daily to a great standard. We booked the Spa treatments and again couldn’t fault it. This will be our go to hotel while on Lanzarote for sure!
− The pool area was super chilled but we’d have liked the music to be louder as it could only be heard from the bar, just to give a bit more atmosphere. And there was a DJ one afternoon which was great, so we’d like to see a little more of this as it only happened once in our 10 day stay. This is just our constructive criticism and maybe not everyone’s choice, and it certainly won’t stop us coming back!
