A nice accommodation which met my needs to have an independent place while visiting family.

The bed was comfortable. The room offered what I needed. The staff was able to accommodate my request for an upper level room, which I believe was quieter than others.

− The renovation of the property did not include the AC units. They are old and a little loud. The filters had not been cleaned and/or changed for sometime which resulted in a mildew odor to the room.

Good location, but the humidity was uncomfortable

The location was great and close to everything we wanted to do — beaches, Sesame Place, the zoo, and lots of good food. The hotel is newly renovated, the staff were friendly, and the private parking lot was a big plus. Breakfast was also decent with eggs, sausage, bagels, pastries, muffins, yogurt, coffee, etc.

− The biggest downside was how humid and damp our room felt. The sheets actually felt wet, and even the bathroom looked foggy and damp before we had used it. We initially thought it was just our room, but later saw another review mentioning the same issue. Some of the renovations also seemed a little poorly finished. On our last night, we unfortunately saw a bug crawling on the floor as well. We spent most of our days out exploring and really only used the hotel to sleep, so it did its job and overall our experience was okay. However, because of the humidity and dampness, we personally wouldn’t stay here again.
